Posture therapy for active people

I'm Stu MacRae, certified in Postural Corrective Exercise by the Egoscue Institute. I guide active, dedicated individuals like you on a journey to realign their body (and to keep it that way) with low impact, quick, safe, simple, and highly effective exercises.

THE BASICS

For when you simply want to trial Postural Corrective Exercises. I instruct you on how to take your posture photos and send them to me. You then receive your one off exercise routine with instruction.

TAKING IT FURTHER

This is a huge step up from The Basics as we spend a min. 45 minutes together (zoom or in person) assessing your posture and creating your personal routine. Follow up contact with any changes etc is included.

We achieve so much in his block of 8 x sessions. Only for those who are truly committed to lasting changes to their musculoskeletal function and elimination of injury. Includes between-session contact.

Payment

I use a different fee payment model. It works on a sliding scale.

My standard fee is AUD$100.00 per 60+ min. session. In our initial chat, we determine what you can afford.

At the end of the day, I have limited space and time and choose to only work with people who are invested in and passionate about their health and wellbeing, regardless of their income level.

Why choose Running In Sandals

  • One of only a handful of people in Australia certified (LEVEL 2) by the Egoscue Institute and using the PTX software and app, purely focussing on Postural Corrective Exercise.

  • Each session provides you a minimum 45 minutes of my undivided time. And if we need more time, we take it. Your individualised routines are not generic, they are designed for you and your posture.

  • Yes, I DO run in sandals! If you’re active then you are an athlete and you are who I want to spend time with to help realise your potential. We’ll build your functional strength, help you gain that extra edge, get rid of those niggling injuries and simply enjoy your chosen activity as much as you can. Yep, Postural Corrective Exercise is that powerful.

  • I’ve worked in the health and wellbeing industry for many years, specifically as a body worker in private practice and also as co-owner of the national Corporate Massage business, Seated Massage.

  • My focus (and what gives me the most joy) is helping people realise and reach their functional potential. Whilst I have a standard fee, I prioritise working with people who are passionate about and invested in their functional health and wellbeing. So your income level shouldn't get in the way if you meet this criteria. We’ll work out the fee when we first chat. And 10% of all fees received are paid forward to Give Directly
